It seems like selfies are all the rage, and I think some of them can be cute or funny. But it’s the ones of really neat places or neat angles that catch my attention. I’d always wondered how they achieved such a unique shot, and that’s when I found out about the Solo Stick Pro!

Essentially, this is a stick that you mount your phone or camera to the end, hold it at a distance, and take a selfie! No more asking strangers to take a group shot, or not having control over what is captured for the moment.  

Since I was using my smartphone, I had to use the mount that was included in the package. Once I got the hang of it, I could slip the phone in and out without a problem. Plus the handle was easy to hold and I felt better having the wrist strap on for sure.

Now, if you don’t purchase the remote, then you’ll need to become familiar with the timer setting on your phone or camera. You set the camera/phone on the mount, figure out how far you need to extend the Solo Stick Pro to get the shot you want, and start the timer. It’s that easy.

I’d definitely recommend the Solo Stick Shutter Remote though, it makes taking selfies so much easier! It connects via Bluetooth directly to your camera or smart phone. I kept mine in my pocket, so I could press the button to take the pictures, but you could give it to anyone in the group. It reaches up to 30 feet away.
