Soniclear Anti-microbial Skin Cleansing System {Review}
Acne knows no age limits..
I grew up when the guideline for maintaining your face was washing with soap and water twice a day. I am thankful that until I was well into my adulthood this was all that was necessary. Then I started having children. Who would have thought that being a parent would trigger whatever is the root cause for acne to awaken within my body but I don’t like it!
Five girls and two boys later I now consider myself somewhat of a knowledgeable person on acne. From prescription meds to dietary restrictions our family has tried them all. Recently we were offered a Soniclear to test and offer our opinion on for our readers.
The Soniclear is really easy to use. Our unit claimed its position of honor on our countertop in the main bathroom and has seen multiple uses for quite a while now.
My thoughts on the Soniclear are that it is worth the investment if you have someone at home that struggles with maintaining a clear complexion.
This basic package includes a brush for your face and a larger brush for your body. Each brush head has appropriate strength brushes for the intended use. I found the brush for facial use to be soft and gentle on my skin while the body brush bristles were firmer and really scrubbed away on my trouble areas.
A note to remember, The Soniclear brush has an internal timing system. The first time I was using it in the shower the unit turned off on me. I thought something was wrong with it until I checked the manual and discovered this setting is to help you with the proper cleansing routine. I guess this would be a safety feature as well as a reminder for the user to make sure you are not over-washing or under-washing your face and body. Needless to say I have YET to have one of my teens come and tell me the unit cut off on them! Teens!
Once you set up the unit and charge the battery, you can unplug the docking station and put the cord safely away. Even with daily use the batteries hold a charge for a long time. We have multiple brush heads and even with two teens using the Soniclear, the batteries are only charged once a week.
Of course the recommended cleansing products by the company can be purchased on their website but you can also use any cleanser of your liking or just plain soap or body wash product.
Additional items that you might consider ordering with your unit would be the Extension Handle which makes scrubbing your back AMAZING and the Travel Case if your crew likes to be mobile like we are several weekends a month. The only other thing to consider is if you will be having more than one person using the unit, because sharing brush heads is not recommended. Additional brush heads can be purchased online.
The Soniclear base package includes the Soniclear device, 1 Facial Brush with cover, 1 Body Brush with cover, and the Charging Dock and power cord.
I would recommend this unit based on our results. I like that the brushes can be changed easily and clean-up is simply rinsing under running water. Since each brush head comes with a snap on vented cover, we wrote names on the cover tops to be able to keep them separate for each user.
