Sphere-Ice Ball Maker Mold {Review}
These are too cool… A little on the large size for ice cubes but..we have had SO MUCH FUN creating ice balls in our favorite flavors.
The mold fits together and you simply pour your liquid into the holes on the top. I would suggest placing the mold inside a flat bottom dish to make it easier to move without spilling.
Once you fill the mold, simply place it in the freezer overnight and when you pull open the mold you will have ice balls! My favorite is puree strawberries. I love using them in my water or with sprite over them.
Because of the larger size, these will not fit in most water bottles. We just busted them up and they slipped right in.
According to the package directions you should use distilled water when making ice balls because tap water could leave bubbles in the mold and possibly turn cloudy. We have been freezing just about any liquid we can think of and using them in our drinks.
You can purchase the Sphere-Ice Ball Maker Mold on Amazon. The basic mold creates 4 ice balls but you could start early and store ice balls in a freezer bag until needed if planning on an event. This is what we have been doing all week…well..when I can keep the crew out of the bag. Who knew they liked frozen fruits that didn’t come on a stick!!
