Squooshi {Review}
Have you seen all the baby food pouches that are all the rage? They look like squishy pouches with a nozzle on the end, and are filled with baby food so you can feed your child easier? I see them all over the place, and when I was asked to review Squooshi products, I knew I stumbled on something even better!
Squooshi is a patent pending reusable food pouch.
They are adorable and refillable squeeze pouches that give you the freedom to give your babies and kids healthy food in a fun container they’ll love to use.
With a sturdy zip-lock style seal located on the bottom of the pouch and a choke-proof cap, Squooshi reusable food pouches can be filled with whatever squishy wholesome goodness you and your little ones desire for a healthy, on-the go snack or meal.
These are wonderful for any parent that has a child; not just those parents of babies. These pouches are great for all ages! Infants can use them as they transition to pureed fruits or cereals. Toddlers who are all about “I do!!” can hold their pouch themselves. Younger kids can take these to sporting events or in their lunch box for smoothies and ice cream on the go. And parents can take them to the gym or go camping for those protein drinks and shakes.
These are dishwasher safe, and free from BPA! Plus since they are reusable, you can save money by filling them yourself and giving your child exactly the type of food you want. Plenty of parents are blending or mashing their own fruits and veggies for their children, but have a hard time keeping it fresh or portable. Squooshi is the solution since they can go straight to the freezer, fridge, diaper bag, purse or lunch box. You know exactly what’s in their food or drink because you put it there!
Personally I love the different designs that they sell, ranging from cute baby animals to bright patterns in blue or orange. And they sell a wonderful “filling station” if you are making a recipe for multiple pouches. We used to make a weeks worth of applesauce at a time, so this would have been brilliant and saved a lot of time and frustration. You simple hook up the nozzle of the pouch to the cap/dispenser and gently press the plunger down to fill your pouch about 3/4 full.
Squooshi also sells spoons, extra lids and labels, plus some silicone soft tops that have a flow control for those transitioning to solids or the older kids who are on the go.
Honestly, all the wonderful products make me want to have another little guy (or girl) just so I can buy more of these items and use them with pride. It fits into our household so well, being a cost saver, less waste, and better control over our child’s food choices.
