Summer Fun at Chick-fil-A Houston Road

If your crew is anything like mine; they love to go out to eat after spending the morning at the park or on those hot days when it is just too sticky to be outside for long. Why not plan on stopping in at your local Chick-fil-A? I know our store; CFA Houston Road is an awesome pit stop during the summer heat!

Here are several reasons you should stop in and enjoy your summer at Chick-fil-A:

For the Young in Age…

The play area is always clean and cool. I love being able to sit along the glass wall and enjoy myself while the little ones can play safely in the play area. Being able to keep an eye on them without having to be “IN” the play area is a real bonus to me!

 

Children can trade in their unopened toy from their kid’s meal for a free Ice Dream!

The Chick-fil-A Kid's Meal bags are actually a cow puppet. We always have fun with these while enjoying our meals.

Make sure to grab a table mat and a tub of snacks for your crew while waiting on your meal.

Of course the new grilled nuggets are a great healthy choice. The kid’s meal options include grilled nuggets, buddy fruits, fruit cup and low fat white or chocolate milk.  All of these are gluten free for those that need to follow that nutritional path! #KidsEatWell

For the Young in Heart…

Have you tried the new menu items? The Chick-fil-A Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Chick-fil-A Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich and the Chick-fil-A Grilled Nuggets have made their debut! My crew loves them! You can read more about these menu items including the nutritional information here.

 

Print out your copy of the Family Activities Calendar so you will be able to participate in the super cool events hosted at your local Chick-fil-A. Ours holds special nights such as Mother/Daughter, Father/Son, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter, Mom/Dad Valentine Date and Family Nights

Free food anyone? Don’t forget to join the eClub. Simply text CFAHOUSTONROAD to 411247. As a member, you will receive reminders about events as well as special text coupons and offers!

Free Wi-Fi for those of us that need to do a little work (or a little play) while the crew enjoys the play area. I like to work on emails and photo editing during my visits. These are things I can start and stop pretty easily as the little ones need my attention.

And don’t forget about the Mom’s (and Dad’s) Valet Service. Simply go through the drive-thru and order your meal. Let them know you are using the Valet Service. By the time you get parked and maneuver the little ones inside, your food will be waiting on a table – high chair and all! I know.. I know.. I would be doing the happy dance too!

Every Wednesday in May you can grab a free Chicken Biscuit or Spicy Chicken Biscuit from 6:30-10am. There is a limit of one per person. Open for both Drive thru and Dine in. Best part? No coupon needed! (This is one of the text you would get to remind you from the eClub)

Cows on Vacation Photo Contest

The photo contest will run from May 1 – August 15, 2014.

Stop in and pick up a “flat cow” from Chick-fil-A Houston Road. Take him with you this summer and include him in your photos! Email photos of you and your “flat cow” to: cfahoustonroad@gmail.com to be entered in the “Cows on Vacation” photo contest drawing! Every photo of you and/or your family with “flat cow” on vacation gives you another chance at the grand prize – A Chick-fil-A Catered Party for 12 with a Cow Appearance! A second and third place “Milkshake party for 12” prize baskets will also be awarded.

Rules: Each photo submitted should be from a separate destination (different city or different spot within the same area).  A family on a “staycation” can also enter. Each photo must be from a different location. Examples would be the Zoo, and other stop at the water park. You can grab your “Flat Cow” inside the Chick-fil-A Houston Road location. Just ask at the counter for one.

 

Twitter Party

Over the summer, Chick-fil-A Houston Road will be hosting Twitter Parties! This month the party will be on May 27^th at 8:00 PM. You will not want to miss this event! Prizes will be given away throughout the hour long party. We are using  #nkycfa for all the Twitter parties.
