The Best Way to Balance a Busy Life

September 19, 2012 SimplySherryl 1 Comment

Ruth at The Better Mom writes an interesting article on how to achieve balance in a busy life. This is a real struggle for me. There are so many “good” things that need attention that I find I don't have enough time for the “excellent” things. My to do list too easily becomes overwhelming. I really see Martha more in me than Mary and I struggle daily to slow down on the “good” and make more room for the “excellent” in my life.

Ruth has a great approach to planning out your day…. simply ask this question: Lord, what is it YOU have for me to do today?

What does the Lord want you to do today?
