The North Face Jester Backpack {Review}
It is that time of year, when the kids are going back to school. And even the teenagers and college students need a backpack, and right now, mine are loving The North Face Jester Backpack! It has so many features that it’s great just as a backpack, but it’s so much more!
Always a best seller, The North Face Jester Backpack features new colors and prints for a fresh look and feel. The FlexVent injection-molded shoulder straps feature a top layer of Atilon foam and bottom layer of PE foam for extreme comfort on the move. Padded back panel and hip belt for extra support. Plenty of storage room with a large main compartment and a secondary compartment with organization.
Weighing in at just over a pound, the North Face Jester backpack is great for hauling books, notebooks, and laptops from home to campus to the library and back again. The straps are so comfortable, and since they are padded, the heavy weight of those big books is spread out along the shoulders to ease the strain.
Plus, the backside of the bag is padded/foam, so the contents don’t slam into your back as you hike back and forth between classes. And it has one of those awesome reflective patches on the back in case you’re out at night.
We also discovered it’s great to go hiking with! I was truly surprised how much could be stowed away with all the different pockets and compartments and still be in place when we got to our destination.
For me, the best features were the even weight distribution, the front section could hold my laptop, and that everything stayed “put”.
Features:
- FlexVent injection-molded shoulder straps add comfort
- Comfortable, stitched foam back panel
- Large main compartment
- Secondary compartment with organization
- Removable sternum strap with whistle
- Mesh side water bottle pockets
