The next time you’re going through Panama City Beach, Florida, be sure to make a stop at the Thomas Donut and Snack Shop! The are right on Front Beach Road (which is the main street by the beach) so you can’t miss them. We even made our stop in the rain because we’d heard such wonderful things about their food.

Located on beautiful Panama City Beach, Thomas Donut & Snack Shop is the perfect place to stop for a snack on vacation. Tourists and locals alike frequent Thomas Donut & Snack Shop for their great atmosphere, great food, and all around great experience. Whether you’re looking for good meal or something to satisfy your sweet tooth, Thomas Donut & Snack shop has what you need.

I heard about this place back home when some family of ours were telling us about their trip to Panama City and mentioned they always make a stop at least once for donuts from Thomas Donut. So when we took our recent trip down there, it was on our list of places to hit, especially since it not only had great reviews online but someone we knew raved about it to us.

Of course it was pouring rain when we decided to stop one afternoon to get a few treats to snack on plus donuts for the morning back at the hotel. I was surprised at the extensive menu they offered, especially considering this is a family run shop just a short walk from the shoreline. They offer all kinds of sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, and even pizza. You just tell them what you want on it and they’ll have it ready shortly.

Breakfast items are probably the biggest seller along with the donuts (more about them in a minute). They have build your own breakfast sandwiches (pick your bread, egg, meat, etc) plus biscuits & gravy, grits, cheese grits, and more.

But, honestly, it was the donuts my family was hot after. Knowing what each person likes, I made the choices while they stayed dry in the car. Choices include (but aren’t limited to):

• Chocolate Glazed
• Cinnamon Twist
• Cinnamon Bun
• Long Johns (various fillings)
• Buttermilk Cake (with and without glazes and toppings)

See, I wasn’t kidding when I said they had a lot to choose from! So I picked a few for my family and sadly, most of them didn’t make it until breakfast. They were in fact snack and dessert instead!

So whether you’re staying in Panama City Beach or just passing through, you can find something for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are great to take back to your hotel, condo, eat on the beach or even on the road in the car (grab napkins).
