My Time with Grandma Bible Storybook {Review}
Do you enjoy reading to your grandkids? Whether they are too young to really understand or old enough to interact and ask questions, My Time with Grandma Bible Storybook by Phil Smouse is a great book to read with them. These are bible stories broken down into short stories perfect for young kids. Plus, the illustrations are wonderfully done to help go along with the story.
Each story has a “love note” from Grandma to be read to the child, as well as a “love note” (Scripture) from God. What a wonderful gateway to help kids at a young age learn the stories of the Bible as well as the Scriptures that apply. I personally didn’t find a specific religious spin on the stories, they were just told simply, fit for a young child to understand. I love being able to talk about the lessons we can learn at that young of an age, from the story as well as the images and Scriptures that accompany them.
