Treat Yourself!
If you enjoy creating beautiful treats, this is the book for you. Treat Yourself is a step by step tutorial on how to make 93 ridiculously fun no-bake crispy rice treats. Are you ready?
Okay I must admit that am so impressed with the designs in this book. I am also impressed with the creativity of the author, Jessica Siskin. If I lived in New York, she would be my go to person for the most amazing treats ever!
From individual APPLES to a graphic ZEBRA large enough for a party, here are 93 creative, crowd-pleasing projects that begin with just butter, marshmallows, and crispy rice cereal and end up wherever your imagination takes you. A giant dessert pizza, customized with coconut flake cheese and other candy toppings. Snack-size EMOJI, as delicious as they are expressive. A cake-size cheeseburger, the project that launch the Misterkrisp brand.
About the Author:
Jessica Siskin is the food artist behind Misterkrisp, a business that specializes in customizable crispy rice treats. She lives in New York City.
According to the book, creating these amazing treats is simple. Just mix, shape (with the help of 75 printable templates), decorate, and done!
Thankfully, the book includes super easy instructions AND photos to help those like me that are not overly creative.
Each project is clearly written and the directions are so helpful. Start with the basic crispy rice cereal treats that most of us are familiar with making or eating. The recipe has the essential ingredients and the essential tools or equipment that will be needed as well as suggestions to prevent the most common mistakes or troubles we all would run into like it getting too firm before we are finished shaping.
Depending on your skill set and the amount of time you have to spend on these creations, each recipe is labeled as easy, medium, or advanced.
I can’t wait to dig in and create some of these treats myself. My experience does go past the normal squares and balls of crispy rice cereal treats so this is going to be so much fun.

Don’t have a Kindle? Grab one for yourself. They are so nice to use for reading. I love my Kindle Fire and my little one uses the e-Reader version (just for reading without the added games and internet options).
