Tribute to Moore Oklahoma

Tribute to Moore Oklahoma

Several of the college age class from Summit church of Christ traveled to Moore Oklahoma on a mission trip to assist with clean up following the devastating tornado. They spent five days working with the  Central church of Christ and Disaster Assistance Mission  in Moore Oklahoma area.

This video is just a glimpse of their experience. Central church of Christ and Disaster Assistance Mission are showing the love of Jesus through helping others in their time of need.

There is so much still to be done. Prayerfully consider supporting those by planning a trip to assist with the physical work needed or by donating funds.

Video was created by Salena Lisner. Song Credit: Ocean (Where My Feet May Fail) by Hillsong United.

I cannot even imagine going through what those people have. It’s great to see a group of college students going out and helping. Definitely still praying for them!

I love when young people, college students, recognize their privilege and respond to a need.

Thank you for your work. This is a heartbreaking tragedy, but a beautiful way for others to show Christ’s love. I’m from Oklahoma and have family near there. There is a long road to go for recovery, but they are making progress and building as a community. It’s great how people come together.

God does amazing things. It is so great to see everyone coming together to help each other in their time of need. That Mission trip will be a lasting memory for them. I pray the residents are all recovering nicely also.
