How to Use Easy Tweet Embed

How to Use Easy Tweet Embed

How to Use Easy Tweet Embed

We all know Twitter is an amazing way to shout out and share things with your friends and fans. But how do you get your readers to share your blog posts?

I recently found an awesome plugin that makes it super simple for your readers to Tweet your blog posts with just a click!

Easy Tweet Embed WP plugin allows you embed tweets within links on your blog posts. These prepared tweets can be used as a shout out to a sponsor or a quote from within your post. What makes this plugin so sweet is that your readers do not have to do anything but click to tweet!

And….Set up so simple!       << Click to Tweet >>

First download, install and activate the Easy Tweet Embed plugin for your blog. If you are unsure of how to install a plug in, you can find simple directions here.

How to Use Easy Tweet Embed Plugin

Once you have the Easy Tweet Embed plugin installed and activated, go to the edit screen of one of your posts on your blog.

Pick the spot where you would like to insert the tweet option and click on the little Twitter icon on the editor toolbar.

A window will pop up. Enter the Anchor Text (what shows up on your article) and the Tweet.

Once you have filled in the boxes, click Insert Tweet.

Note: You can either grab the short link or simply select Insert Permalink. The Permalink is a lot longer and will limit the length of your text so grabbing the short link is a better choice.

So when one of your readers clicks on the “Click to Tweet” link, the completed tweet will pop up for them to send.

They can send the tweet without leaving your article! They also have the option to edit the tweet before sending.

I have been using this plugin for just a couple of weeks and I am thrilled at the increase of Twitter interaction with my readers. I really like that I can fill in the tweet info with anything I want to shout out and am not limited to the title of the post. You can even insert a link to another article. How awesome is that option?    << Click to Tweet >>

Let me know if you install this plug in and what you think about it. Have you noticed an increase in your Twitter interaction?

Great tip! I’ve seen the “click here to tweet” links on other blogs and have been wondering how they did it. I might add this plugin to my site.

Hi Sherryl. Very well presented. I am very new to Twitter but even I understand this which is one of the best ways to evaluate the quality of a tech related post. Thanks !

    Hi Sherryl,

This is an excellent plugin and I have been using this feature for over a couple of years now. In fact, I wrote a blog post about it recently as well and glad you see that even you enjoy using ClickToTweet.

    Thank you for sharing.

    Regards,
    Kumar

Ah, bummer I don’t use Word Press. This looks like a great feature. It has made me want to look into Twitter though.

A great idea! I think readers are definitely more likely to send a tweet if it’s easy AND I love that they don’t have to leave the site to do it.

    Thanks for the tip!

I am getting so many great tips and tricks from you lately. I have never embedded a Tweet, mostly because I didn’t know how. Another thing to PIN for my blog for future reference. Thanks!

I already have embedded tweets on my blog (mine are highlighted in a “tweet box” but I had to comment and say that if anyone is sitting on the fence to do this… it’s totally worth it! My posts have been shared 75% more often since I started the embedded tweets on my blog. It’s awesome!

    Thanks for sharing.

    Wishing you a lovely day.
    xoxo
