Wow that is one cute pic! And quite shocking numbers too in this so-called recession. In my country I believe the figure is increasing yearly as well. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see it in graph form. We don’t go crazy. Just a few scratch Offs and maybe a card or flower. After many years together there is not much to buy.

Pretty neat to see what others are spending there money on. We don’t buy for ourselves, we just buy for our daughter. I guess if we had more money, we would probably buy for each other, but right now the main thing is our daughter 🙂

We really don’t celebrate Valentines day. We give notes and flowers and gifts through out the year not just one day a year.

Hate to be such a downer, but I don’t have anyone to celebrate with and I tend to think it as a Hallmark Holiday! 🙁

Luckily we really don’t celebrate Valentine’s day, we tell each other (and the kids) we love them everyday. The after sales are great though!!

I sometimes wonder if more money and thought goes into Valentines Day then Christmas and birthdays – I would like to think not. But Valentines Day seems to be a big part of America, and there’s a lot of money being spent.

That is crazy how much is spent! I was thinking prior to reading this, to tell my husband let’s only spend $5 on each other. Some chocolate and we’re good! We’re on a tight budget and I hate for him to waste money on roses being delievered when they’ll just be dead in a few days.
