Veggie-Go’s Fruit & Veggie Snacks {Review}
Remember eating those leathery fruit roll-up snacks when we were kids? They’re still out today and they come in all sorts of flavors, shapes, etc. But they aren’t exactly the healthy snack I want to eat, or feed my kids. So this past week, we’ve been trying the Veggie-Go’s Fruit & Veggie Snacks, to see how they compare.
1/2 serving of fruit AND 1/2 serving of veggies in every strip
Less than 1/3 the sugar of the leading fruit strip (no added sugar or fruit concentrates)
Organic and Non-GMO
Unique and DELICIOUS flavors!
So when the company advertises as having unique flavors, they aren’t kidding. Here are the kinds we were trying in the house:
- Mountain Berry Spinach – berries, spinach, apples, sweet potatoes
- Sweet Potato Pie – sweet potatoes, apples, spices
- Cinnamon Spice Beet – beets, apples, sweet potatoes, flax seeds, cinnamon
- Carrot Ginger – carrots, apples, ginger
First off, these all smelled delicious as soon as we opened the packaging. They come in a small plastic pouch which is great to toss in your purse, backpack, lunchbox or anywhere else you want to keep it handy. Then we tried a taste test to see how many of the natural ingredients we could determine before reading the ingredients on the packaging (Mom kept these hidden).
We all had our favorites and least favorites. I can say overall they were sweet enough even without the added sugar, and I love that we are all getting a half serving of fruit and a half serving of vegetable from such a small snack.
Each one of these flavors are:
- Organic
- 1/2 Serving of fruit and 1/2 serving of veggies
- No added sugar
- Non-GMO
- Gluten Free
- Vegan
- Kosher
It’s great that the company is really developing healthy snack options, using fruits, vegetables and spices. I can feel good about feeding these to my family, even the grandkids, while they just simply enjoy a sweet and tasty treat.
You can purchase your own Veggie-Go’s Fruit & Veggie Snacks on Amazon soon, once they are released for sale.

These sounds awesome! I may not always be the healthiest eater as a single mom working full time but it is very important to me that my son is. We will have to give these a try when he is old enough to eat them. Thanks!
