Victoos Nut Milk Bag
A month ago I was asking myself what a nut milk bag was…And in that one month I have not only learned what this item is but several ways to use them.
One of my favorite uses is my weekly batch of iced coffee. It was so messy with cheese cloth. Not so much with the nut milk bag since it keeps all grounds contained.
Making our Almond Milk is so much easier with this bag because the mesh is so fine that it allows the liquid to pass through while keeping the solids inside. Just pull the draw string to close and start twisting from the top until you squeeze all the liquid out of the bag.
Clean up is breeze. Dump the pulp or solids in the trash and turn the bag inside out under running water. I made a bowl of soapy water and swished the bag in it before rinsing again and hanging up to dry.
This bag would be great for making any fresh nut milk as well as yogurts, cold brew coffee, teas and even sprouts. The bag is large enough to place in a strainer and pour your liquids into it. We even use ours to rinse and drain small fruits.
