Welk Resort in Branson, MO {Review}
*I received a complimentary stay at the Welk Resort in Branson, MO to facilitate my review. All thoughts are 100% honest and my own.
Location, location, location is a well know phrase that applies to just about any activity or business. This could not be applied better than to the Welk Resort in Branson, MO.
Nestled in the breathtaking Ozarks, Welk Resorts and Hotels Branson Missouri is a first class destination resort offering lodging, lodge luxury vacation rentals, dining, activities, fitness center, mini golf, game room and live theater entertainment in Missouri.
The hubster and I spent four glorious days in Branson and were pampered at the Welk Resort. The property is huge and packed with activities for everyone.
Our room was simply beautiful. The attention to detail was impressive. We even had a gift basket and a towel elephant waiting on us! The elephant is still being talked about among our children.
It was so nice to come back to our room and just crash. The bed was awesome! More pillows than most people could possibly use but I am a pillow hog so this thrilled me. I was also impressed at the number of towels and other bath amenities available. Again, the attention to detail was quick to shine through.
Our room had a large flat screen television, an overstuffed chair and ottoman, work desk and chair, and an awesome view of the valley. I liked that the property was set away from the main bustle of Branson. The quiet surrounding was so peaceful.
Food? Wow..if you left the dining area hungry, it was your own fault! Meals are offered in the Stage Door Restaurant which offers a monster buffet that had the usual fare plus so much more! We ate different items each morning and still didn’t work our way through the entire buffet.
Oh, let me tell you about the coffee! I could not drink enough of it. It was perfect and consistent cup after cup.
The location has an outdoor pool that is seasonal. It was still too cold for it to be open but I can only imagine how much fun the kids would have playing in it. There is also a mini golf course and a play yard with swings, slides and things to climb on.
Of course the inside pool area was a hit with every child on the property! Slides, games, and water that was just too inviting not to jump right in was open. We laughed at the children in the restaurant crying that they didn’t want to go into town and see anything.. they wanted to stay and play at the pool!
This would have been my children. I think we could spend the entire vacation on site and not miss a thing. In fact, I would love to return to this location and do just that with our entire family.
So, if you are headed to Branson or if you are looking for a place to get away for a vacation; keep the Welk Resort in mind. They offer fantastic packages for attractions in town if you want to take in a show or activity. If not, you could not ask for a nicer place to stop, rest and recharge with your family.
As the motto goes for Welk Resorts…Great vacations begin at Welk Resorts!

Thanks for the review. My sister and I are actually vacationing next month and Branson is one of the places on our potential vacation spot list, so this is helpful.

I have heard that Southern foods, especially smoked brisket and pulled pork is unrivaled, nothing like anything sold in Northern grocery stores.Did the buffet include these meats?

I have to admit I don’t know much about Branson. It always seemed like the place where old country acts go to die. But perhaps I should give it a second look?

Sure looks nicer than the places we used to stay at when Branson was just a hick town. So many amusements in that place and nearby Silver Dollar City is a lot of fun too.

I had a call from a company that was trying to give me a couple night stay on a resort for really cheap in branson. I had to ask them where branson was ? LOL. I have my vacation already planned in june so unfortunantly i was not able to take them up on there offer. Loved reading your review though. Thank you.

The towel elephant looks really cool. Overall, this looks like it would be a good place to stay. I don’t believe I’ll ever be in Branson, but I’d keep this place in mind if I were to find myself in the area.

This looks like a great place to stay in Branson. I like the idea that there is so much to do right on property. It’s almost like cruising with everything on board.
