Win the Stuffy Nose Battle with Naspira
There is nothing that breaks my heart more than when one of my children is sick and struggles to breathe, especially the babies and toddlers. It’s not that I don’t feel bad when my older children are sick but you can’t tell your eighth month old to blow her nose! However, we have found a way to win the stuffy nose battle with Naspira.
Let me tell you more about this unique product.
The Naspira® Nasal-Oral Aspirator by NeilMed® is the most unique nasal aspirator that I have ever seen much less tried. Over the years, I have used the bulbs and other systems but nothing compared to this one.
Honestly, I wasn’t too sure I wanted to give it try. But after talking with several of my friends at play group, who by the way, LOVE IT… I agreed to try it and share my thoughts.
Setting up the unit was simple. The directions indicated it could be used as either a NasaBulb aspirator or as an effective Nasal-Oral suction device.
Yeah, I tried the aspirator version first. It worked! And little Miss Allie didn’t seem to mind at all. She was even cool with the suction and tolerated it a lot better than some of the other ways we have had to deal with her stuffed nose.
Oh, and before you ask.. All the parts come apart for easy cleaning and can (and should) be sterilization by rinsing in boiling water or in the microwave. All of this is explained in detail with the directions.
So how does it work? I know, it looks strange! Well the aspirator includes 7 in-line disposable filters that prevent mucus (snottiness) from entering the tubing and reaching your mouth. YAY for the 7 in-line disposable filters!
The company that makes this unique device is NeilMed®. They produce saline nasal irrigation systems. They are, in fact, the largest manufacturer of these products in the world!

I try to keep 7-up and crackers on hand. Also, chicken noodle soup is good. Some good comforting foods to help upset stomachs.

I gave my children a bell that they knew they could ring if they needed anything.
