So with my large family, we tend to gather either around the kitchen table or outside when the weather is nice. I recently got 2 outdoor fire pits and I have one in the front and one in the back yard. But when we aren’t actively using them, I saw how fast they get dirty and beaten up without a good cover! One of my fire pits came with a metal/mesh cover which was really only meant to keep the embers from blowing out while we’re burning in it. It does nothing to keep the wind, rain or snow out of the fire pit when it’s not in use. I had to find something to protect them since they are an outside feature and I can’t haul the heavy fire pits around every time we get a storm!
