Having little ones running around, it seems I'm always on the lookout for a family friendly show. And if I can find it online where we can stream it anywhere, including on the go? Even better! So let me tell you about our newest show, Jungle Jim: A Musical Wildlife Adventure streaming right now on Amazon!
Jungle Jim offers original music with animals singing songs about themselves to teach kids fun animal facts. Jungle Jim gets to view live footage of the animals in their natural habitat.
In the show, Jungle Jim explores the animal kingdom with his friends Flip the Monkey, Dash the Cheetah, Scratch the Porcupine and Stripes the Tiger.
The goal of the show is to provide worthwhile content so parents feel confident that what they are showing is age appropriate for their children.
Right now, just the 15 minute pilot episode is available on Amazon. But with everyone who watches it, shares it, and leaves a review, the more likely it will be to be picked up and made into a series for our kids! I'll be honest, the songs are catchy, and the kids are learning about real world animals, not made up worlds and fairy tales.
And it's not all animation either, but real footage of these animals in their habitats. They aren't just learning facts and fun things about these beautiful animals but they are also seeing them move, run, and relax with their own eyes.
Our favorite is Flip the Monkey. My kids always eat so many bananas, they might as well have been monkeys!

Jungle Jim was created by Steven Wagner. Every night before bed his children would want to read books about animals and talk about them. Steven's brother Eric, who is a musician, wrote and produced all the music. Eric is also all the voices of the animal except Dash the Cheetah. Jungle Jim is voiced by Eric's son.

“Jungle Jim” sounds like a fun DVD for movie night. It looks like it has lovable and unforgettable characters, especially for families with younger children. This looks like fun children’s programming. Even though we are empty nesters, my hubby and I enjoy watching the educational and informational programs on Saturday mornings. The animal shows are our favorite.
