Keep It Rolling with the PlasmaCar!
Winter is around the corner and for most of us, that means the kids say goodbye to their bikes until spring! But what do we do about all that pent up energy? Well, I send my kids either out to the garage or down to the basement to keep it rolling with the PlasmaCar!
The Original PlasmaCar is an innovative, ride-on toy that harnesses the natural forces of inertia, centrifugal force, friction, and kid power. No batteries, gears, or pedals. Patented safety seat design places rider in a safe, comfortable position and minimizes tipping. Use indoors or out on a smooth, flat surface. Supports up to 220 lbs/99.8 kg. Age 3+
Originally this was one of the extra toys we kept for when the kids had friends or cousins over so everyone could “keep it rolling” together. But the kids also discovered a great compromise to the “no riding bikes inside” rule that I enforce! This requires no pedaling, so it’s easy to manage even for the younger kids. By simply turning the steering handle around, they can easily go in reverse!
My grandson brought his PlasmaCar he received several years ago to a weekend retreat where the kids had to play inside the large dining area due to the cold weather. That bad boy was ridden by children and adults all weekend long and was definitely a life saver! I bet several hundred miles were put on those tires over the course of the three days they were there.
I like that this toy can be used inside or outside depending on the weather and can hold up to 220 pounds. So sometimes even the teenage cousins or adults will hop on and take a few laps with the kids. There are several color combinations you can pick from, so each child can have their own or you can quickly tell which one belongs to your child out of the neighborhood’s collection of PlasmaCars.
It’s easy to put together; we had ours assembled in about 10 minutes. And the learning curve is a breeze, once the kids figured out how to make it move. It even rides well on carpet, it just requires a little more energy to keep it rolling! I would definitely suggest this awesome toy for Christmas or birthdays for any child or playful adult.
