The very most important is being able to access your stored materials in the bottom bin without having to un stack the 2,3, or 4 above it.

The other advantages are all based on getting more organized to begin with and getting to build something with PVC is just plain cool. Building it yourself allows you to design the storage center to your needs. You can build it 2 high and 10 wide or 10 high and 2 wide. Once you have the basics of how to build it, you can customize it to the bins that you already have.
