Tradewinds Unsweet Iced Tea Fruit Popsicles #MomentstoSavor
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Tradewinds. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own.
Summer is coming to a close and although you wouldn't know it by the 90 degree temperatures we are having, so many things are changing around our home. We have a wedding in the planning stage and two of our girls started college. This mama is seeing my once full nest slowing emptying. This is one reason why I have been intentional about looking for moments to savor this summer with my family.
Meagan is our youngest daughter. She and I have been spending a lot of time together as she starts college and gets settled into the new routine. Personal responsibilities change so much when you are in college. I have enjoyed the extra time with her discussing the challenges she will face and how best to deal with the new pressures.
One of the ways we enjoy spending time together is in the kitchen. Meagan is quite an accomplished cook and loves creating new things for us to try. She is also very health conscious and always looks for ways to make things that are not only delicious but as healthy as possible.
Her Fruit Popsicles are awesome! Delicious and easy to make too.
Ingredients:
1 cup Tradewinds Unsweet Iced Tea
1 cup Fruit medley of your choice
Directions:
Prepare your fruit by dicing super small or tossing in the food processor or blender until chunky
Spoon fruit blend into Popsicle molds, filling about half way full
Slowly pour over the fruit in the molds – leave room to insert the stick
Insert stick/lid before placing in freezer for several hours or over night
To release mold, run under warm water for just a couple of minutes
Our favorite blend uses blueberries, strawberries, pineapples, and bananas. The combined sweetness of the fruit is just enough to lighten the sweetness of the without adding any additional sweeteners.
This is so simple to make and can be enjoyed all year. All of the ingredients are readily available. You can find varieties at a store near you or online at Amazon.
Sharing our love of cooking is one way we are finding moments to savor. I am so proud of her and am excited to see where life takes her as she begins her college studies.
How do you creating moments to savor with your crew?

These look too yummy and my kids would love them. I think I will start by using strawberries and maybe next time peaches.
