Getting to Know Sherryl
As part of the preparations for Titus 2:1 Conference in April we have been asked a couple of questions. I thought it would be fun to share this with everyone.
4 Questions About Me
1. How Long Have You Been…
Blogging? On this site only since June 2012. Prior to this site, I written for several homeschooling associations as well as maintained online group communities. Stepping out on my own was exciting and scary at the same time. I have been so blessed in the last nine months.
Homeschooling? Living the lifestyle for 34 years! In the final three years with last two of the seven in high school.
Which Do You Think Is Harder? Hands down….Blogging! It has been a real challenge to put myself out there in the web world. However, I believe it is the responsibility of older women to teach the younger women to be Women of Christ, Women of Integrity, Homemakers, Wives, Mothers, etc… My prayer is that my words will reach someone that needs to hear them.
2. If You Were a Superhero, What Would be Your Homeschool Super Power? My power would have to be to remain focused and directed during chaos!
3. If you could go anywhere, besides the 2:1 Conference, where would be your dream “mom-cation”? This is an easy one for me… the beach! We are planning a trip this summer to NO WHERE BEACH for two weeks of NOTHING! I am so looking forward to spending time with our children and grandchildren while having no decision to make other than what is going on the grill for dinner!
4. What do you hope to “get out” of the 2:1 Conference – This will be my first Titus 2:1 Conference and I am looking forward to meeting like-minded women that find themselves in the same boat with me. How do we get it all done?
