Walnut Mocha Breakfast Smoothie

Walnut Mocha Breakfast Smoothie

Coffee lovers listen up… this is one amazing protein rich Walnut Mocha Breakfast Smoothie! Between the cocoa powder, chocolate whey protein powder and cold coffee..yum yum! Of course a little whipped topping and chocolate syrup drizzle only makes it prettier. Fire up your mornings with this smoothie.

Ingredients:
2 cups chilled brewed Black Coffee (or 2 teaspoons instant with 2 cups cold water)
1 frozen Banana
2 scoops Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
1 Tablespoon Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Tablespoon of walnuts (really adds a deep rich flavor to the smoothie)
1 cup of ice (more or less depending on how thick you like your smoothie)

Directions:
Place all the items in your blender or smoothie machine and let it rip! It really doesn't get any easier. Enjoy!

Optional garnish with whipped topping and sprinkle more crushed walnuts and drizzle chocolate syrup on top.

That’s different. It sounds pretty good. Don’t the walnuts make it taste bitter? I seem to recall that they are bitter.
