Dream Pie Bites Using Chick-fil-A Cookies

Dream Pie Bites Using Chick-fil-A Cookies

Dream Pie Bites Using Chick-fil-A Cookies

I love cream filled, whipped topped pies that have shaved chocolate on them. They are by far my favorite dessert. However, when looking for a smaller portion to serve (well eat myself) I got to thinking about ways to enjoy the taste without having to eat the entire pie…

Dream Pie Bites Using Chick-fil-A Cookies

Ingredients:
3 Chick-fil-A Chocolate Cookies
1 box of instant pudding (vanilla or chocolate) plus milk to make /or use ready to serve pudding
1 container of whipped topping (tub or can – your choice)
1 chocolate candy bar
2 boxes puff pastry shells (serves 30)

Directions:

  • Place cookies in a baggie and crush with fingers or pulse in food processor until fine crumbs
  • Prepare pudding according to package or if using prepared pudding open containers
  • Arrange puff pastry shells on a serving platter
  • Place a layer of crushed cookies in the bottom – press down gently
  • Next layer pudding to fill pastry shell
  • Top with whipped topping (tub or can)
  • Sprinkle additional crushed cookies on top
  • Shave chocolate from bar with grater over the platter
  • Keep chilled until ready to serve

Note:
This could easily be changed to pot luck or family style dessert by using a pie pan. The cookies have enough moisture in them to hold together as a crust. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
