Chicken Cheese Bites with Chick-fil-A Nuggets

Chicken Cheese Bites with Chick-fil-A Nuggets

Chicken Cheese Bites with Chick-fil-A Nuggets

Chicken Cheese Bites make a great finger food or appetizer. And since macaroni and cheese is a staple in our house, I am always looking for ways to change it up. I try to incorporate little bites of other items when I can get away with it. So what would go great with Macaroni and Cheese? Chick-fil-A nuggets of course!

These little bites of goodness are… AWESOME!!

Ingredients:
1 box Macaroni and Cheese (your favorite style)
1 box Chick-fil-A nuggets
1 cup shredded cheese (your choice)
1 sleeve (15-20) crackers
1/2 stick of butter, melted

Directions:

  • Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package directions
  • Dice nuggets
  • Place crackers in a baggie and let the kids smash them into crumbs. Drizzle melted butter over crumbs and toss to coat
  • Combine the macaroni and cheese with the nuggets
  • Using a muffin pan (cupcake pan) press the nugget macaroni and cheese mixture into each cup
  • Sprinkle cheese on top
  • Place in  400 degree oven and bake until the tops and sides are brown. The “bites” will start to pull away from the walls of the muffin pan
  • Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before removing from pan or they will fall apart!
  • Place on serving platter and offer your favorite dressing to drizzle on top

This looks awesome. I thought you meant they were selling these at chick-fil-a! My kids would go nuts for these. I’d love to make em but I don’t have a chick-fil-a around. I could probably use a different kind?

I am usually on the go when I eat my nuggets, but this is a good idea. I sure this is great with their bbq sauce.

Yum! This sounds delicious! I think I may have to try this recipe next week (but I’ll probably end up using homemade chicken nuggets since I do not have a chik-fil-a nearby). Thanks for the recipe!

I guess these would taste good, but when I cook at home it’s mostly to save money or eat healthier by controlling what goes into the recipe. This does make me wonder what kind of creations might be possible with White Castle though! 🙂

Hmmm… I do love a White Castle late at night, but too sure how to incorporate them into something else. Now you got me thinking. LOL Wanna work together on a couple of posts?

My grandkids love mac & cheese and this is a fun addition and making them in the muffin tin is great.

Where do you purchase the Chick Fil a nuggets? Are they sold in a grocery store now? I have a picky toddler, so I really would love to make this because I guarantee he would love these!!

Local chick-fil-A stores are the only place I know of to purchase these. I imagine you could use other chicken but these were created as part of my brand ambassador program.
